You can make money with a blog? Read on to find out the truth

For those who have been blogging for a certain period of time, without a true direction, or strategy, the question is invariably after a few weeks of posting useless: "Can you really make money with a blog?" Well, the answer is absolutely, if you know what you're doing, the process is not just a ton of fun, but potentially the best source of passive income you are going to find.

The key to monetizing your blog is very simple: you must have passion for the topic, consistency in content, and a monetization strategy that piggybacks on the previous two points effectively. If you are blogging, for example, to sell your own services, which obviously would not want to add a lot of contextual ads and affiliate offers to your site. Your monetization strategy here would be far different from a blog about diet, for example, where the author was trying to share their successful strategies for weight loss, all the while pointing his readers to the program (s) was used to achieve such great results.
