The only way to create instant traffic website? Part 2

Welcome to part 2 of my Google AdWords pay-per-click training article.

As you know by now, pay per click advertising is the only way to bring traffic to your website instantly.

Google is very good at taking you through, step by step, the configuration process you need before you launch your PPC campaign, but there are some steps you need to do to ensure a successful campaign.

Search

This is one of, if not the most important part of your PPC campaign. You must know,

A. How many marketers are promoting the same product (s) like you.
B. Which keywords generate the most traffic.
C. What keywords do not work and why.
D.What are the best bid prices for the best keywords.

The first job is to create a list of words, this next part will explain how to build a free, basic list of keywords. Overture Keyword Selector Tool Vai. Searchmarketing.yahoo.com / rc / srch then click, 'keyword tool selection', which is halfway down the page on the right side.

In our example, today we are going to use 'mountain bike' as our main search phrase.

'Mountain biking' Enter, 'Get suggestions for:' box.

My results show that ~ COUNT (the number of searches last month), followed by the term keyword search
1. 51280 ~ mountain biking
2. ~ Trek 3906 mountain bike
3. ~ 3354 specialized mountain bike
4. 2928 ~ review by mountain bike
5. 2853 ~ the mountain bike
6. 2393 ~ rocky mountain bike
7. 2254 ~ mastering mountain bike skills.

This is only a small part of the list itself, which amounts to 100 search results.

For this exercise, you select only the best 7 searches, but remember, you must create a huge list of keywords between 200 and 300. I will show you how to do it in the next lesson.

Under the column "count", you will see that there are a lot of searching for the term of the base, but also that there are targeted searches for smaller topics as well. The question is not too strong, but we know that this is a product of high value to wait until you see bids and competition.

It is said that there are 51.280 searches for the term "mountain bike" last month. You can multiply that number by 3 to come up with about how many times that word was searched for Google.com.

Next ... We copy the first 7 keywords in a text file, we will need them for the next step.

Here's the list I've come up with so far:
or mountain biking
trekking and mountain biking
or specialized mountain bike
or mountain bike review
or mountain bike part
rock or mountain biking
or mastery of skills in mountain biking

Now we want to find out what the bid is best for these keywords.

That is, how much money is the competition (ie other Google Adwords advertisers) are willing to spend on this niche to buy traffic. A high number is a good indicator that your niche is profitable, but on the other hand, if you know for sure that a niche is profitable (like home theater systems, which sell for quite a lot of money), prices low bid may mean that this is a market that is ripe for domination.

One way to check the bid price is to use another Yahoo tool - visualization tool offers. Back to Searchmarketing.yahoo.com / rc / srch street and click on "View Bids Tool" on the right half of the page.

1. Mountain Bike, Parts and more Bike Shop mountain bike performance parts and accessories at low prices. Huge selection of bikes from Giant and Jamis and a complete line of components from Shimano, Crank Brothers and more. performancebike.com (the advertiser Max Bid: $ 0.34)

2. Located on Mountain Bike at Smarter.com Compare prices, brands, and more at Smarter.com. smarter.com (the advertiser Max Bid: $ 0.33)

3. Mountain Bike Closeout Sale 1 day only, save up to 60% off premium MTB. Save over $ 2000. rscycle.com (the advertiser Max Bid: $ 0.32)

Above is a search for "mountain bike" - note that the top bid on Yahoo is under $ 1.00 - which is pretty cheap when you consider that a good mountain bike can cost several hundred dollars. Taking into account the cost of the physical product, you can see that this is very nice, profitable, under-market price offer.

Repeat this procedure for all keywords and check the best price elasticity of demand for them. You are doing this to assess how much you will pay per click, to match / top competition. In this case, you will see that most of the keywords have a bid price below $ 1.00. This is good news, but keep in mind that in AdWords you will have the competition a little 'more, then you can expect a higher bid price in AdWords to be at least twice that much of Yahoo, and perhaps more.

After doing our research, we have a nice list of targeted keywords, profitable to begin our campaign with AdWords. A couple of interesting things to notice here: Despite being a fairly expensive market (top-of-the-range mountain bikes can cost thousands of dollars), there is a low level of competition (bid prices are quite low). This will allow you to corner the market quite easily, if you know how to sell it.

People are interested in specific aspects of mountain biking (off road, motorcycle stunt) as they are with the "how" aspect (ride better, faster, perform tricks). This can work to our advantage, as we shall see when we get to write your ad.

Now that we have prepared our list of keywords, we are ready to configure our Adwords account. In the next article we will do exactly that, bye for now .......
