Article marketing strategy - how to create valuable content that is read

This is really sad too, because the purpose of writing and marketing articles is to help direct targeted traffic to your website. The following tips will help you to use article writing as an article marketing strategy for more efficient traffic:

1. The content you write should be useful to your readers.

It 'really does not matter how you feel about what you write. This is a basic marketing 101 fact: it's not you, it's your readers. As an article writer, you must consider their needs. What are their problems? What do you want to know? Better yet, what do you know who want to know?

When writing your articles, consider these questions. Do a little 'research, if necessary. Check out the forums, search engines and keyword research tools. Find out what your readers want to know and then answer their questions.

2. Do not give your reader a complete solution in your article.

In other words, do not tell the reader everything you know. Unless you really do not know much about the subject, will not be able to tell anyway.

Give your readers some useful tips that can find and then take them to your web site for more information. It 'easy to do using your resource box to tell them what you have available to them on your website. Once again, offer them something of value here: a free report or ezine can not get elsewhere.

3. Use your resource box effectively.

In other words, use to obtain the click. If your readers do not click through to your website after reading your article, you just wasted your time writing the article.

Do not waste your time filling your resource box full of useless information. Nobody really wants to know how many children you have, where you are, or what you do when you are not working.

Even if you can find your life interesting, the truth is that most other people do not, and if all you want to do is talk about you in your resource box, then you've wasted your time readers. They do not care.

Make your resource box as relevant as possible. Show your readers how they can find more information on your website. Be very clear about what you want your readers to do. Do not just tell them to click on the link in your resource box, tell them to click on the link to receive a free report to your site, or subscribe to an ecourse that will teach them more.

In other words, give them specific instructions on what you want them to do. Take the hand and lead them exactly where you want them to go. You have only a certain number of words in your resource box to communicate your message. Communicate effectively.

There are many ways to improve your articles to create an effective article marketing strategy. Add these three tips for your article marketing mix, and you'll get more traffic and sales ....
