Designing Web - Avoid Bad Concepts

There are so many ideas of web design available. And as you begin building your website, you might be tempted to use some of that would be really great ideas. The choice of an effective web design is essential especially if you are planning your business website.

For example, using a lot of pictures and graphics may be too overwhelming and result to slow down the load time for your site. This, in turn, visitors are not able to endure the wait and just leave and never return. If possible, try to save images in GIF format, rather than a JPG. Also, try to decrease the size of the images as much as possible without distorting the images.

In addition, the counters of visitors should not be placed on your website unless perhaps when you have a lot of traffic. You could easily keep track of the number of visitors to your web site through your web host. There is no need to reveal to the world. You can probably use when you had millions and millions of visitors and want to see the popularity of your website for new visitors and advertisers.

Try to avoid banners, as they are only additional graphic elements that could slow down the loading time even more. Most browsers are ticked off with banners. They feel that they are just advertising unnecessary and, therefore, ignore them and avoid clicking on them. If you still choose to have a banner, is at the bottom or the top and make sure it will be related to your website .......
